If the Democrats take back both houses of Congress should

they pass a law called the Trump Rule? Such a law would establish a limitation for wither 1) limiting the total $ amount of loss that can be carried over or the number of years that it may be carreid over. That might be quite fitting and would certainly put him at the crosshairs of the uber wealthy crowd.

a law undoing the Supreme Court ruling on the Voting Rights Act,

a law requiring presidential candidates to release at least ten years of federal and state tax returns.

Those are the first two that pop into mind, but there's more--I've only just had my first cup of coffee.

zero tax liability EVER.... personal losses need same type of cap as capital gains/losses....where we are limited to no more than $3,000/year in losses....that way people like trump can have 1.5 millions years of tax returns to claim the losses....LOL

Seriously - they have enough that they need to be brought up to speed on without also having to learn the most basic information and details they should have learned in high school.

I am younger than him, and went to a public school but Government/Civics was a required course.

anticipate that a military academy would be too interested in civics when most of what a military does is truncate civics, even within its own structure. Military life is no democracy... been there done that.

The educational institution still has to be accredited and I am pretty sure that, at least at one time, passing a course in government/civics was a requirement.

Not sure if it is, still, but it definitely should be.

should be required curricula in all schools, but I do know that it isn't in real life. Sad, really.
