I can't fault Trump for not paying taxes he didn't owe, BUT...

... do we want a person with the values to set this up be in charge of closing down tax loop holes?

The REAL story is what did he have to do to sustain that loss? How many bankruptcies? Etc., etc. Was THAT legal? For sure it wasn't fair.

I have used the loss-carry forward option on our tax return years ago when we were farming and had some rental properties, it is common and available to everyone who operates a business. The thing that is mind boggling is the amount. This is a man who puts himself out as being so good at deals and business, but has this huge loss all in one year. It shows that he has terrible judgment in his business dealings. Think if he used the same bad judgment if he were the Pres. and dealing with some international crisis.

that's the point Sanders is making. It's a powerful meme and I hope it catches on.


It's important to change his "populist" persona. It may get some trump supporters to change their votes.
