He wants attention and he couldn't just sit on something so earth shattering for 3 or 4 months. He would have released it within 15 minutes of getting his hands on it.

Which also isn't true. Party rules call for a new vote, not for the second place finisher to automatically take over.

It is safe to say that Assange et al. don't have anything significant. That doesn't mean they won't hype something or even make something up though.
