NYT’s Charles Blow crushes ‘domestic terrorist’ Trump: ‘He should be laughed into hiding’

New York Times columnist Charles Blow unloaded on Donald Trump as an immature and dangerous man who should be too ashamed to show his face in public.

“Donald Trump is a domestic terrorist; only his form of terror doesn’t boil down to blowing things up,” Blow wrote in a column published Monday morning. “He’s the 70-year-old toddler who knows nearly nothing, hurls insults, has simplistic solutions for complex problems and is quick to throw a tantrum. Also, in case you didn’t know it, this toddler is mean to girls and is a bit of a bigot.”

Blow’s comparison echoed remarks made Sunday night by HBO’s John Oliver, who called Trump “incoherent” and compared him to a “racist toddler coming out of dental surgery.” But the columnist went even further, attacking the Republican presidential nominee’s principles, integrity and personality.

“It isn’t so much that he is a strict disciple of radical ideology, but rather that he is devoid of fixed principles, willing to do anything and everything to gain fame, fortune and power,” Blow wrote. “He has an endless, consuming need for perpetual affirmation. This is a bully who just wants to be liked, a man-boy nursing a nagging internal emptiness.”

In my nearly 70 years, I have never witnessed anything like this. That it is happening in the context of a US presidential election is astounding, and very, very scary.

One only hopes that the meltdown is total whereas the GOP is concerned.

This is like being stuck in a dreadful nightmare. Every day brings a feeling of nausea wondering what disgusting thing this creature might pull. The reality that he has actually conned witless people into believing his drivel is the worst aspect for me. To realize that so many are so gullible and so lacking in common sense is frightening. He has made a mockery of this country and everything it used to stand for. I just hope we can survive this attack.

The GOP has been treating the Office of the President as a joke since the '80s....70s?

Look at who their nominees have been nice Nixon.

A JOKE.

Red ink is revealed in the tax returns.

What if creditors didn't know that? What if it wasn't Obama's
birth certificate that was fake, but the loan applications?

If you have that much red ink, how do you keep borrowing?

What if creditors call in their loans?

Put another way, what percent of equity supports that debt?

There is a house of cards somewhere.

10. MSmedia now turning against him

All morning the MSmedia cable news talking heads have been talking about Trump's casino losses and failure to pay taxes. The sharks are gathering and circling around the bleeding prey. Just as the MSM delighted in following and highlighting his outrageous behavior, many are now taking delight in his downfall and unravelling. And because his scandals are so numerous, and his reactions so irate and out of control, MSmedia is no longer afraid of him. It's a race to see who can dig up even dirtier dirt.

I've said for a long time that sometimes things must get worse before they can get better. I think the worse part is beginning to accelerate and grow for Don the Con. It will be another dreadful week for Don the Con with the only saving grace being the VP debate that maybe will get the MSmedia to change its focus to Pence's lies and BS. Certainly nothing to look positive to for the GOP. The Trump/Pence ticket has become just another monstrosity in the carnival freak tent. Selling tickets to the freak show still puts money in the pockets of the MSmedia. So why not print headlines of the next monstrous thing revealed about Trump?

I don't know if the GOP has learned anything beneficial from this disaster. They don't seem to be a bunch that can learn from mistakes. Still peddling trickle down economics, black crime, welfare Mom's driving cadillacs, more war machine, fewer taxes for the rich, underfund education and infrastructure investments, carbon-based energy, corporate free trade that destroys US jobs, etc.

Deep down he knows he didn't do anything to deserve great wealth and he hasn't succeeded at business and he's never done anything to deserve praise. I'll bet his father constantly called him a disappointment.
