Reagan’s Son Rails Against Trump In Fiery Tweetstorm
“If this is where he is going I cannot follow him,” he wrote in a Twitter barrage.Ronald Reagan’s son (Michael) is lashing out against Donald Trump, expressing his disbelief and disappointment that the man running for president on the GOP ticket technically represents the same party his father once did.
“No way do I or would my father support this garbage,” Michael Reagan wrote in a tweetstorm Sunday night, linking to a Politico article dissecting Trump’s latest comments on Hillary Clinton, his opponent, whom he accused of being unfaithful to former President Bill Clinton.
“If this is where he is going I cannot follow him,” he continued, adding that his father would have probably reacted by saying something like: “I didn’t leave the Party, the Party left me.”
Reagan also urged Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, to take a stand against Trump.
“Getting [to] a Point with Trump where I just don’t give a shit,” Reagan wrote.

to see if I can discover some sort of consistency or pattern. It seems his beef with Trump is his lack of discipline and over-focussing on frivolous stuff (like the Miss Universe or made-up crap like Hillary not being loyal to Bill, which he went off on). The "business/taxes/wealth" of a candidate is apparently not important or relevant to him in terms of supporting someone.
He sounds like an elitist loon on twitter (I have listened to him on and off over the years via his talk show or appearances on shows, so I know he is as far right as they come with the characteristic hard edged anger that characterizes that kind... but without going into Alex Jones/CT type territory).
I get the feeling that he doesn't think Trump is as polished or principled as his father, and the more that time goes on, the more he has started throwing the party under the bus via tweets. 
...my like for him went up a notch... from nothing; it was non-existent. He's 100% correct about Nancy voting for Hillary Clinton and it's nice to see he mentioned Jane Wyman adopted him, not Nancy. Hope more conservatives see the light... they've been putting up with the hateful bigot vote for too long.
