A Succinct Summary of Trump

Trump's basic game appears fairly simple. He asserts that he's successful with various conspicuous displays of wealth and power. This gets contractors and banks to do business with him. He then fleeces them and refuses to make payments in line with the economic value provided to him. That he's managed to create the appearance of success by doing this isn't genius. It's just deceptive. Michael Bloomberg was a far more successful businessman and started with modest means. He could buy Trump out without even thinking about it and he thinks Trump is an utter bullshit artist.

The key to pulling it off is having no sense of moral decency.

He's good at selling it as gold. Appeals to other peoples' greed. Dazzles them with his razzle-dazzle. He has the values of a crooked business man: that is, the only value is to win and make money and screw everyone else if you have to, to do it.

When the 2000s came, the Iraq war came...people thought his opinion was still important. No one with common sense should have ever listened to him.

Henry Ford was rich too, and people listened to that shit. I've always had a problem with, just because someone is rich in this country, it makes them wiser. Too many...most?..of them know nothing of common humanity.
