Mook gave a standard, "don't trust all these polls" answer.

Here's what he should have said:

"When is the last time that anyone in the media - including you, Chuck - has asked either Donald Trump or one of his many surrogates for details about any policy he is proposing? When have you or any other media person held Trump's feet to the fire and demanded real details about his proposals that go beyond him stringing together a meaningless word salad of superlatives like "great, incredible, wonderful, the best" etc? When was the last time you refused to accept one of Trump's standard not-an-answer dodges as an answer and demanded he answer the question by providing details?"
