2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBrace yourselves, folks: Sean Hannity is officially off the reservation!
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/10/05/sean-hannity-lashes-out-at-megyn-kelly-clearly-you-support-hillary.htmlThe comment that appears to have set Hannity off came during Kellys broadcast Wednesday in which she criticized both Hillary Clinton and Trump for retreating to friendly media outlets instead of facing tough questions from seasoned political reporters. Donald Trump, with all due respect to my friend at 10 oclock, she said, referring to the host whose show follows hers, will go on Hannity and pretty much only Hannity and will not venture out to the unsafe spaces these days.
In response, Hannity accused Kelly of being a Hillary Clinton supporter, which is just about as nasty of an insult as exists in the world of Fox News.
The next 4 years are looking like an HRC administration and a Fox News civil war!

(6,133 posts)She's smart and is doing her part to make herself more palatable to more moderate people.
I will always consider her an ass for her past, but she will continue to be a great success. Thank you America.

(10,252 posts)and she needs to tell him 2 more things: A) Who she does or doesn't vote for is none of his business. B) She casts her vote like everyone else -- on a secret ballot.

(2,848 posts)as if that is the right place for Native Americans? Clinton recently made a similar mistake and I ask you to reconsider using this in the future. When reservations were first established "off the reservation" meant you would be hunted down and maybe killed.

(5,045 posts)Today native Americans live and govern on their own sovereign ground. They are nations recognized by the US government subject only to the federal laws and separate from any state control. But the term "off the reservation" goes back to a much darker period of American history and is pretty insulting to tribal members.
Now, when it comes to Hannity - he's hitched his wagon to Trump and will likely go down with the ship. No wonder he's a little testy...

(7,581 posts)Just to mess with him. He is the ultimate Republican not-very-smart blowhard. Nowadays, I just go on twitter and mess with him. I think we should all take to twitter and talk about Megyn Kelly being much smarter than he is!
