Really lame shit.
They recycle the RW wet dream lies about Hillary. Can't see them influencing anyone to vote for Trump.
The NRA-funded ads are particularly ineffective.

(24,207 posts)any balance of money due to them. Trumps don't pay balances due
Hope they got the cash up front.
I thought the same thing. They are not very good. None of them I have seen so far looked like anything that would convince an undecided voter to go for Trump.

(7,573 posts)the Clinton team really has very effective ads out there.

It's no good. Very sad.

(6,238 posts)From what I've heard New Yorkers, especially those in NYC, despised Trump even before he got involved in politics.

(18,969 posts)Hillary's have been very well made and very emotionally powerful. The production values in Trump's look amateur and cheap, and they are simply not very emotionally effective. Amateur hour in that campaign. No doubt Trump is making money of their cheap production.

(73 posts)I have seen Trump ads here in Alabama and recieved 2 robo calls from the Trump campaign. Alabama is the reddest state there is. Why would any republican campaign waste money here? The stupidity of it boggles the mind.

(182,603 posts)"How to Rig an Election" by Allen Raymond is a good short funny read. He goes into the details of this sort of thing. Different campaigns will hire the same robo call and mailing operations in each election. It's sort of their way of supporting the machinery and it is noticed by the parties and the leadership.
Raymond got seed money
from Haley Barbour when he was the head of the RNC. Raymond was approached by Erskin Bowles to do a massive robo operation the last weekend of the campaign but passed because he'd taken money from the RNC and was trying to make a name for himself. He ended up getting business from the RNC on Election Day. He got 3 or 4 numbers to call repeatedly - it was the Dem's GOTV operation in New Hampshire 2002. He jammed the lines. Raymond did 4 months in Fed prison.
It's a really interesting read. Two funny stories about Mitch McConnell and the Cubans in Miami. The one about Rove is typical of Rove.
