Politico's 2016 Nerdcast almost made me hit the dashboard -- They are incredibly deceitful ...

In the last podcast episode, an Australian who had settled in the United States asked why one of Hillary's speech on disabled rights was not covered. This ass hat on the show said, "It wasn't important. She didn't break any ground. Republicans agree in general with her." He said this over and over and over.

So this is a reason why the mainstream press does not cover such presentations? He also said that it waited not attacked trumpet in her speech, so therefore it was less important. He said the Republicans also tend to cover the same kind of disability accommodations that Democrats do.

Absolute and utter BS.

But I was thinking to myself that (as so many people do) that if the mainstream press is not reporting these issues, then the American people will think that Hillary is not talking about them. But she is, often, in-depth, and she is issues-oriented.

As Thom Hartmann has often said, the mainstream press does not report the issues that Hillary is focusing on, and I think that's because of three reasons:

1. They want to keep it close for the general election and don't want voters to be able to join together on issues they all agree on -- such as raising taxes on the richest Americans, reducing the military budget, focusing on climate change, changing finance laws, promoting health care for all, bringing about less expensive college, etc.

2. They want to protect their corporation executives from paying higher taxes, from having to follow antitrust laws, etc.,

3. And the media is making "so much money!" ( http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/leslie-moonves-donald-trump-great-for-bottom-line) Listen to the following Thom Hartmann vies(and skip the anti-measure 97 ads).

Listen until the Thom plays Les Moonves's words.

Les Moonves said, "I've never seen anything like this, and this going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It's a terrible thing to say. But, bring it on, Donald. Keep going," he said, as quoted for The Hollywood Reporter.

How obscene. Thom is utterly correct!

Any thoughts about this?
