2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumDamn Chuck Todd just checkmated Giuliani
Skeletor rambling on about how Hillary is now proven to be two people, one in front of Wall St and one in front of everyone else yada yada...
Chuckie then asks, so does that mean what we now know Trump says in private is a reflection of who he really is since you seem to be implying that about Hillary?
Giuliani was flustered and pretty much threw his hands up.
Beautiful moment.

(11,584 posts)Is Rudy the only rat left on SS Trump? Dickerson isn't holding him to the fire, but the Clinton pivots seem pretty hollow at this point.

Trump seems to talk alot about fixing everything that he thinks is wrong in our country. He would pick up the phone and demand a solution in 30 days.

(28,795 posts)just a hint..he's a pathological liar.....sound familiar?
On the contrary, Victoria Toensing, the deputy assistant attorney general at the Justice Department in Washington who filed a criminal complaint in the Lauro investigation, says that no one in Giuliani's office "was involved at all." Jay Fischer, the Klinghoffer family attorney who spearheaded a 12-year lawsuit against the PLO, says he "never had any contact" with Giuliani or his office. "It would boggle my mind if anyone in 1985, 1986, 1987, or thereafter conducted an investigation of this case and didn't call me," he adds. Fischer says he did have a private dinner with Giuliani in 1992: "It was the first time we talked, and we didn't even talk about the Klinghoffer case then."
for those who've forgotten, or are buying into the myth, this article is a must read. pass it on to the kool aid drinkers

(80,699 posts)I didn't think Chuck Todd would bear down on ANYTHING some CON said to try to shit on Hillary Clinton.
I'm frankly a little bit amazed.
Gabi Hayes
(28,795 posts)and he just didn't know how to handle the situation. he semed genuinely shaken, and at a loss for words.
if he's the family man his authentic reaction shows him to be, perhaps he's going with his heart, and will become a bit more aggressive against lying shills like RG.
he also really went after the Trump PR guy (Miller, IIRC) a few days ago, when he kept insisting all the internet polls that showed Trump winning the first debate, LAUGHING in his face, commenting with amazement that this guy would keep saying the polls were accurate, calling into question his credibility. I think that he might be reassessing his approach to the reality of the trump campaign's utter lack morality, integrity, truthfulness, ability to discuss issues rationally, etc..
who knows? I think that little scene on Friday could have been a watershed moment for him. we'll see
I mostly agree with what you said about CT, generally, but, aside from what I mentioned above, he's occasionally shown some spine...not often, but once in awhile
