Oh they thought they were very clever. But I think it was a pretty revealing peek into minds that are not very polished at critical thinking.
Examples:
- Liberals can't criticize Trumps behavior because the tape is no worse than "Lil Wayne" lyrics!
- "50 Shades of Gray" was popular, so women should not complain about Trump!
- All men talk like this!
- The Kardashians are popular, so what's the problem?
Saw a quite a few of these Sunday and Monday. Curiously, none today on my FB timeline - it seems the comments were not exactly going the way they expected.
We are seeing the consequence of mal-informed voters who cannot distinguish between fiction, "reality" TV-shows, entertainment and a Presidential Election.
