Related: About this forumI VOTED today! (how about you?)
I received my ballot in the mail, here in San Francisco California, yesterday. Have completed the ballot. It will go out in the mail as of Wednesday!
I voted for Hillary Clinton.
I also voted for Marijuana to be legal in California!
One small step in the defeat of Donald J. Trump! Yay!

(3,284 posts)Doesn't it feel good? Since I can't actually punch Donald Trump in the face, sending in my ballot for HRC was the next best thing...

I know the State is safe, but I'm hoping for a mandate for Clinton and winning back Congress.

(1,395 posts)We can only dream that the government here will allow medical cannabis. They finally just allowed oil for kids with epilepsy, but tightly controlled on the THC amounts, possibly not even adequate. Frustrating.
Here's to more enlightened times. California, lead the way!

(41,818 posts)This morning while walking to the Mail Box on the corner, I saw my neighbor and said, "I am voting today" and he said, " Oh gosh, I have my ballot, I will fill it out today!" ...pretty sure California is totally going for Hillary, but there are other places in the nation that needs to get behind her quickly with early voting!

(12,448 posts)I have to wait till Oct. 27 for early voting in Maryland, but I can't wait to vote for the FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT.
I may have to wait till Oct 28; I'm an election judge and have to vote early but I'm judging for early voting as well as election day. But I'm excited! I'm WITH HER!

(41,818 posts)vote by mail, its a great option to have. And, its a paper ballot. I would never trust electronic voting as there is too much of a chance to have the numbers tampered with.

In MD, my vote will likely be only a tiny drop in the sea of blue for HRC! But it will count nonetheless.

(54,770 posts)bad weather, maybe illness, last time I stood in line it was with a bunch of loud mouth white wingers, etc. My lady friend did too. Voted for Democrats. I live where there are a bunch of unopposed GOPer incumbents, didn't even vote for those.
Nowadays, there are so many ways to vote, that there really is not any excuse.
