Delta Will Let You Register to Vote In-Flight For Free

Point Me To The Plane

For readers who are US citizens, the Presidential election is coming up. In many states, today is the last day to register to vote (if you want to vote in the election on November 8), and Delta wants to help you out.

Through today, Delta will put up the voter registration website for each state when you visit the splash page of the in-flight Gogo Wi-Fi service. Furthermore, Delta customers flying on Election Day will get an email from Delta encouraging them to vote early before getting on their flight. It will even include a way for passengers to share that they’re voting early on social media.

Apparently, on Sunday, Delta even broadcasted the 2nd Presidential debate live via in-flight entertainment on transcontinental routes. Amy Harry, General Manager – Brand Communications of Delta, says: We want to ensure customers have the ability to participate in the political process in every way possible while they are traveling with us. Travel shouldn’t get in the way of customers making their vote count. We’re proud to make it a little easier for customers to make their voices heard no matter where in the world life takes them – even on Election Day.
