http://www.thegailygrind.com/2016/10/14/hillarys-gay-nephew-breaks-silence-aunt-hillary-helped-come/How does Hillary Clinton really feel about gay people?
Given that she became a supporter of equal marriage only a few years back and that she supported her husbands Dont Ask, Dont Tell military policy, many have questioned where she truly stands on matters of importance to our community.
What we dont often get to see, however, is the personal side of this conversation. But now Clintons gay nephew is speaking out to paint a fuller picture of his Aunt Hillary.
Colin Ebeling is the son of Clintons childhood best friend, Betsy. The women met as sixth graders in Park Ridge, Illinois and graduated high school together in 1965. They remained close friends over the years and Clinton even spoke at Colins high school graduation.
In a Facebook post with over 5,000 shares already, Colin, a filmmaker, said that Clinton was very supportive of his sexuality and that she congratulated me when I came out of the closet, when I got my pilots license, when I married my husband and when we adopted our baby girl.

(10,500 posts)And I meant exactly what I said. I hope their daughter also has her mother in her life.
And I hope they don't do what adoptive parents have been known to do, which is act is if they saved the child from a lesser life. Most birth mothers love their children very much and desperately wish that they could be raising them.
Adoption does not provide a better life. It provides a different life.
