Trump to address nation in ‘more personal way’

Donald Trump said Friday he will address the nation “in a more personal way” as he faces mounting allegations from women who say he aggressively kissed or groped them.

Seven women have come forward in the last 48 hours to accuse him of sexual misconduct. Their stories come after Trump was caught in a 2005 video talking about groping and kissing women without their consent. Trump has denied all of the accusations lodged against him and at a rally on Friday criticized the appearance and discredited his accusers.

He and his advisers have expressed fury at the media for publishing stories about the accusations, and Trump’s statement suggested the GOP presidential nominee would be trying to get around the press.

“Hillary Clinton can spend all of her time and money pushing complete lies against our campaign, but I refuse to fall victim to this vicious cycle of personal attacks,” Trump said in the statement.
