Some Eau Claire residents change vote

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) --......................

The Eau Claire City Clerk, Donna Austad, says so far four people who voted early have come in to change their vote. It is legal for early voters to change it up to three times.

Austad says when people change their vote workers have to find the person's ballot, then give it to the voter, who will tear it and place it in a separate area. Voters then get a new ballot.

Austad says more than 1,700 people have cast in-person absentee ballots in Eau Claire.
