Social media is looking scary....

With the election seemingly heading for a blowout, facebook in particular is looking very scary. A lot of people posting memes and openly advocating for violent revolution. A lot of innocent people may lose their lives just because Trump loses. These people actually think they are "patriots" by denying the American people their democratic rights. One meme I particularly see repeating is one that says, "Tyranny will soon force good men to fulfill a dangerous oath". Are these people serious? People complain about left leaning mainstream media but shit, the echo chamber on bullshit mountain has become dangerous and stopped being something funny your drunk uncle repeats on thanksgiving. Hopefully it doesn't come to this but if people do die, it's all my on right wing media and the RNC fir actively lying to those who desperately want to listen. Stay safe DU.

I mean seriously, how STUPID does one have to be to go on FaceBook and start talking about violent revolution.

The same dopes are afraid to register their guns ... and yet they put photos of themselves and their arsenals up on Facebook.

These are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Hate speech radio fueled that.

It is my hope that the DOJ is working overtime to prevent this. Just yesterday 3 American terrorists were taken down and the murder of dozens of people was prevented.

They feel they are brave and rebellious and "doing their part" just by posting a gif. If they can make one person think twice about going to the polls, they've done their job, a mild version of the poll terrorists in Middle Eastern elections.

The issue on Facebook is usually the person is *not* anonymous.

The louder the noise, the bigger the tent feels.

dragging people they don't like out and away on TV, but they'd need a leader and a mob to join before they'd get "brave." Btw, our pedestrian-unfriendly suburban communities where most of these people live don't lend themselves very well to mob behavior. I do wonder if we could see more acting out against people seen as "liberal" by trumpster police officers.
