Poll: Ken Bone leads Jill Stein in Florida

<snip>

"A man whose outfit at the second presidential debate made him an internet sensation polls higher than Green Party nominee Jill Stein in Florida, according to a new poll.

Ken Bone leads the Stein 4 percent to 1 percent in the Public Policy Polling (PPP) survey out Friday.

Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson, meanwhile, takes 5 percent support among the state’s likely voters.
Friday’s results found Hillary Clinton leading the presidential field in Florida, with the Democratic presidential nominee grabbing 46 percent.

Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, trails behind at 42 percent in the battleground state.

PPP surveyed 985 likely voters in Florida via telephone interviews Oct. 12-13. It has a 3.1 percentage point margin of error."

That between the MSM blackout, and the many Democrats that disparage her constantly, she doesn't have a chance of course.

I can understand simply ignoring her, or if not that campaigning with the statement that voting for the Green Party is like a vote for Trump. That's fine. But watching Democrats, self-described liberals, progressives, ridiculing, personally insulting her is appalling. Please tell us what in her platform do you disagree with and why? Do you think she is an evil person? Do you think she is not sincere in her beliefs? What do you disagree with in her platform? The Green Party is a respected and influential party the world over. And they fight for things all Democrats should be proud of.

I know its not a popular opinion on her but I say if you don't have anything nice to say about a fellow progressive, why say it?

She's in bed with Putin. Sure, because she doesn't think a war with Russia is in our best interest?

Its not that I would support her over Hillary, but damn some liberals sure like to eat their own.

She is a rat f%*"er funded by republicans and probably Putin as well. Every time she has gotten so much as 30 seconds of tv air time she has used it to attack Hillary while not saying a word about Trump.

She is an enemy to our cause that would be tickled shitless to see Hillary lose toTrump. She said Hillary was worse than Trump. If she genuinely believes that then she's dumb as dog shit. If she knows that isn't true then that makes her a liar. Either way it doesn't speak very well for her.

If you spit on me and mine I don't kiss your ass for it. Never been much for that turn the other cheek bullshit.

politican, presumably from the left, who spends an inordinate amount of time trashing "Democrats". So, your request for civility where she and Greens are concerned is denied.

Jill Stein is a brilliant lady with a lot of great ideas but if she ever wants to be taken seriously she has to go through our primary.

Our primary selects the hands down best candidate out of a field of good candidates and that is why we've been so successful.

It stands to reason that if you can't win our primary or in her case even run in it then you won't stand a chance in the general election as she will learn come election day.

a candidate like Jill Stein running in the Democratic primaries, at least not without her being registered as a Democrat for a few years. I'm also not a fan of the lack of detail she has for her agenda, and judging from her history of attacking major Democratic figures while not saying as much about Republicans, I doubt she would be loyal to the party if she were to run in our primaries. The best thing for her and other Green Party supporters to do if they really care about growing their party is to aim towards building a foundation in local elections first, and maybe it can grow from there. Local elections are where there tends to be the most impact in people's daily lives.

'Local elections are where there tends to be the most impact in people's daily lives.'

So true. City councils affect neighborhoods. They can encourage local businesses and can keep big developers out, to use just one example.

That is why I'm glad Democrats voted for Hillary over Bernie. I like Bernie Sanders and think he's got a lot of great ideas but he only wants to be a Democrat when it's convenient for him.

I don't think Jill Stein would ever win our primary though and she certainly wouldn't win the general election.
