There is no "fallout", as much as the media wants there to be. The PutinLeaks email dump has revealed a total of nothing. They show that Clinton has a very smart staff, and also that when she is giving speeches she says the same thing that she says on the campaign trail.

This CBS article explains very well that this involved a phone call where State Dept wasn't sure how to classify a Benghazi email that was part of a FOI request, so they consulted with FBI. This was BEFORE the FBI's investigation into Clinton's server and emails.

By coincidence during the same phone call, the officials discussed the matter of FBI in foreign countries but no quid pro quo. Apparently the email involved Libyans arresting suspects at Benghazi and was sent by a State Dept official on govt email.
