In deep-red Florida, signs of trouble for Donald Trump

USA Today about 3 hours ago:

A proud Texan and former docent at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Dallas, Fogg has never voted for a Democrat for president. But there she was last week on the porch of a Panera Bread restaurant in one of Florida’s reddest communities sporting a “Republicans for Hillary” T-shirt — and inviting passers-by to join her club.

“I agonized literally for months,” Fogg said about her transition away from Trump and his “serious character flaws." She considered supporting Libertarian Gary Johnson before finally settling on Clinton.

This is a big deal to me because I could toss a rock and it could land in the Villages. I've been surrounded by a sea of red since we moved here and it's good to know some of them have the good sense to abandon Trump. It is also a VERY big deal for Dems chance of winning here.

despite the infamous 2000 election and all the shenanigans that took place. hillary has been running ahead of trump for a while there and demographics are far less favorable to him there than they are in ohio and iowa. it is the state where i see hillary's ground game advantage helping her the most.

A nice variety too, not just the same ones all the time. Still, that attitude change among wealthy white Republicans... even if just a few... tells a tale.

Almost no ads for Trump.

Good for her; she's doing a service to the Villages. I've heard how r/w that place is.
