Former Gov. Jan Brewer is desperate for attention and gets it as one of the few female public figures willing to stand up for Donald Trump.
Apparently, she's happy to do so even if it means trashing a large segment of the population of the state where she served as governor.
........... some Republicans weren't buying the idea that Hispanics, who overwhelmingly support Clinton, would tip the balance.
So the newspaper asked Brewer. Arizona's former governor said of our state's Hispanics, a major constituency in her supposedly beloved state:
Nah...They dont get out and vote. ............

His presentation to people is always negative, telling his audiences that this group or that group is "bad."
I loved your observation that Trump does not understand how many people "are descended from the residents" when the U.S. Southwest was Mexico.

(58,785 posts)be wrong! They do turn out by the millions, after all, just have been cumulatively in lower percentages than other groups. So just a relatively few more...
Of course, one problem is that, like any other ethnic/racial group, at least half are conservative by personality, no matter how they might register. The GOP kicks them in the teeth and speaks of "out"-reach to them, and much of what Democratic candidates promise undoubtedly elicits the usual conservative reactions.
