The reason Sarah Palin always sounds so blotto these days is because she's drinking herself into organ failure wishing she would have thought of it.

His campaign has spent almost ZERO on advertising, letting the news media run all of his appearances for him. He has hired almost nobody to work his ground game. He has only started running ads recently, and they all look like they were produced by Mr. Dinkley's media class at Millard Fillmore Junior High School. He is also running them only in states where he either doesn't stand a chance of winning or where he is a "sure thing".

And yet, despite having run a campaign on a shoestring, here he is limping to the finish line with all-but-depleted coffers. Amazing.
