Last Call, folks...

If you're contributing to a campaign, the time is now so they know what resources they have for the final push.

My wife and I are supporting 37 candidates for House, Senate and Gov (in additional to Hillary, the DNC, and the Party Committees). This weekend we did a last pass and identified the following:

Candidates running against GOP Leadership or Tea Party Representatives:
Bryan Caforio
Douglass Applegate
Morgan Caroll
Brad Schneider
LouAnn Bennett
Terri Bonoff

Candidates to support a Clinton win in Florida, Pennsylvania and Michigan:
Stephanie Murphy
Charlie Crist
Joe Garcia
Steve Santarsiero
Lon Johnson

Caforio's in my neck of the woods, though the last redistricting shifted the district boundary a few blocks and moved me from that district (formerly Republican Buck McKeon's) and into the adjoining district of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

Caforio's opponent, Steve Knight, was elected to McKeon's seat when he retired. Knight is popular here, especially among the many veterans here in the Antelope Valley. I see him all the time at local events and I've met him and had my photo taken with him and his wife. Right now we're seeing a lot of money being poured into TV ads for both Caforio and Knight. In blue California this is one of the very red areas.
