The NC GOP has lost it's itty-bitty mind.

I know you knew that already, but they are sending campaign material to my husband who is a registered Democrat and not in name only. He votes in primaries every year. DEMOCRATIC primaries. And donates to lefty political groups. Lol. They must be sooooo desperate. They sent him a nice flyer today telling him where and when to early vote.

Thanks NC GOP!!!! He will. He alwasy does. But not for a single one of your suck cadidates.

They are either wildly incompetent and just looking at basic demographics like race, age and gender or completely desperate. Every single demographic bit of info, other than race, gender and age, scream this is a Democrat who does not need to be reminded to vote.

If in their incompetence and lack of campaign offices they just bought mailing lists that happened to be primarily d focussed? What a hoot that would be!

into my Facebook feed. That was a HOOT! I trolled them so hard each time they did it too, with about 50 other politically active liberals they had mistakenly paid to include in their social reach. GOP and conservative interest groups are not bringing their A-game this year. I hate them ALL with the power of 1000 suns and love seeing them fail at campaign tactics that are so basic that even I, a lowly unpaid campaign volunteer knows better. It's not rocket science. They are soooooo stoopid.

That was a disgusting and scary thing. Hope they do find out who did it. Stuff like that tears the fabric of democracy.

8. Do you register your party affiliation in NC?

I know most campaign voter files will show if/when you have voted in the past. But unless a campaign has other outside information about party id, as in you have volunteered or signed up for something in the past.. absent that, they may know if you vote or not, but they dont know WHO you vote for.

Unless you have party registration in your state, that would be a very good indication of who you tend to vote for.

IF you register by party in your state, then they are idiots on an epic level!

If you are registered with a party you can ONLY vote in your party's primary races. Unaffiliated voters can choose either primary but then vote only in that party's primary for that election.

Some "Democrats" in the south have not voted for an actual Democrat for decades. There is no way to know for sure how someone actually votes in a general election. But my husband votes every year in the Democratic primary, so it is pretty clear he is an actual Democrat. Candidates don't usually bother to call or mail us at all unless it is for donations or volunteer hours. Our affiliation and voting records are that clear. We are big-D Democrats and vote as consistently as the sun rises.

I think a lot of those are going out mistakenly. An acquaintance of mine was fielding messages on her cell from the local Dem HQ and got so many calls about them from Democrats that she decided to just go into the office and answer calls directly.

I have been saving mine so I can gloat and laugh at the stupid waste of time and money. I think they are going to lose here big. :fingerscrossed:

The NCGOP are ruthless- I don't trust them at all. If more stories keep popping up like this before election day then everyone in this state should speak up. There are people on Twitter telling me not to worry b/c these are isolated incidents- What happens if they aren't isolated?
