Clinton sports big lead in poll of NC early voters

Clinton sports big lead in poll of NC early voters
By Ben Kamisar October 24, 2016, 11:55 am

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by more than 20 points in a poll of North Carolina early voters.

The new survey from the liberal-leaning Public Policy Polling (PPP) finds that 63 percent of those who say they voted early back Clinton, the Democratic nominee, while just 37 percent say they voted for Trump. Less than a half of a percent say they voted for Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson.

Be soooo Nice if she got North Carolina back in the Blue Column like in 2008 for President Obama!

Before the lyin' teabaggers got a hold of it and put so many through through hell. This is their chance!

Thank you, working~

MUCH better. Obama just squeaked those Electoral College votes out in 2008. We waited days, maybe a week after the election for recounts to be certain. He won on the back of activist work that had been going on for a decade. We had been slowly inching up voter participation and AA and youth turnout for a while. Obama caught fire with those groups and won NC by a smidgen. It was a HORRIBLE surprise and disappointment from the NC GOP and they have been taking out of our hides in the form of regressive election legislation ever since.

Clinton is polling much better at this point. Most of their nasty Jim Crow laws have been overturned by the courts because racist. The electorate here is even more urban/educated white/immigrant/AA than 2008. And everyone hates Trump, even most sane Republicans.

It could be VERY good for Dems. Fingers crossed and knock on wood!

He has lousy constituent service too. Helms was awful, but if a constituent needed something, he got it done. Even for Democrats. The work paid off for that nasty bigot. But who even sees Burr? His only real constituent is the big corporation and even Republicans know that. He is never in the state as best I can tell.
