Question? If cheeto's supporters turn out to violence on Nov 8th that causes depressed turn out

in Democratic vote bank, and supreme court is 4-4... worries me...

I mean lets say violence happens and leads to disruption in polls in minority districts... This is probably best example of voter intimidation that can happen.

PA has democratic governor, OH has Trump hater, but what happens in NC, FL and NV?

No wonder DNC sued RNC today...

Mike Pence Used State Police To Suppress Voter Registration In Indiana, Advocacy Group Claims
A raid this month seized 45,000 voter registration applications, most of them from black voters.
10/15/2016 04:40 pm ET | Updated Oct 18, 2016

. . . a raid by the state police on the Indiana Voter Registration Project offices on Oct. 4, a week before the state’s voter registration deadline, following claims of strange registration applications. Police seized computers, cell phones and thousands of voter registration applications.

Craig Varoga, the president of Patriot Majority USA, estimates that 45,000 people may not be able to vote on Nov. 8 because their applications were seized. Most of the disenfranchised are African American, he said.

“Mike Pence has a well oiled political machine that is using the Indiana State Police to suppress African American votes and violate the Constitutional rights of tens of thousands of Hoosiers,” said Varoga in a statement. “This is not only voter suppression at its worst, it is an insult to all of the honest troopers in the state police, and to law-enforcement officials across the country, who disapprove of wasting precious crime-fighting resources on partisan witch hunts that further harm relations between police officers and minority communities.”

The group also claims that state police officers did not allow employees to film the raid, handcuffed a black male employee and denied him the right to speak with an attorney.

Pence spokesman Matt Lloyd denied the allegations, calling them “completely false and absurd.”

Pennsylvania GOPer Shares Misleading Meme Promoting Fake Online Voting
TPM Livewire - OCTOBER 18, 2016, 6:09 PM EDT

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/joshua-lorenz-pennsylvania-online-voting

A Republican city councilman is in hot water after he shared a deceiving meme over the weekend telling Pennsylvania voters they could vote for Hillary Clinton online on Election Day just by using a hashtag.

According to screenshots posted by blogger Billy Penn, the memes posted by Murrysville City Councilman Joshua Lorenz read "Vote Hillary November 8th" and "You can vote at home comfortably online." Lorenz wrote "more proof that the election is rigged. Only Hillary supporters can vote from their smartphones from the comfort or in the comfort of their own homes," according to the screenshots.

No state allows voters to vote via social media post.

Lorenz told the Associated Press that he deleted the posts, which he said were meant as a joke.

10. voter suppression is REAL.

They try to do it through their control of state houses, and rewriting election rules, but they also do nefarious actions like "oops, you're not registered" as happened to my sibling in FL in 2000, even though my sibling had registered at the DMV.

DON'T fear them. I share your concern for their douchebag actions we've seen several times already this year, from FL trying to keep people from registering, to those asshat gun toters in VA, sitting outside the Congressional candidates campaign HQ.

CALL THE COPS ON THEM and check out my thread in 2016 forum about if they try to block you from voting, or anyone else for that matter.

Standing Up to Donald Trump’s Vote Suppressing Thugs
By Adalia Woodbury on Tue, Oct 25th, 2016 at 10:21 pm
Vote suppression is synonymous with a Republican Party that has put more energy into that effort than in developing policy to benefit people, or even a get out the vote effort.
. . .
There are some steps we can take to reduce the risk of voter intimidation. Early voting is a guarantee of evading Trump’s voter intimidation squads. For those of us who plan to vote on Election Day, voting with friends has merit. There’s safety in numbers and, if needed, you have a witness.
Make sure your cell phone is fully charged when you go to the polls. If you are approached by one of Trump’s voter intimidation squads or you see them intimidating other voters, live stream it on Facebook and/or Twitter.
Whatever you do, don’t leave until you have cast your vote.
Aside from these measures it’s important to incidents of Trump style voter intimidation to a Department of Justice election monitor.
However, as reported in the New York Times, the Department of Justice will have fewer monitors at polling places.
Because of a Supreme Court ruling three years ago, the department will send special election observers inside polling places in parts of only four states on Election Day, a significant drop from 2012, when it sent observers to jurisdictions in 13 states.
And in a departure from a decades-old practice, observers will be sent to only one state in the South, where a history of discriminatory voting practices once made six states subject to special federal scrutiny.
Even if DOJ monitors are not present, you still have options, like contacting the FBI field office in your state. You can find phone number, address, and website links to your state’s FBI field office here: https://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field-offices

Call 866ourvote.org at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683). Our Vote can take complaints of voter intimidation and offer advice on what to do.
Trump has tried to silence people for decades. Don’t let him do that to your vote.

12. It's one thing to intimidate people from protesting at rallies.

But it is an ENTIRELY different situation when it comes to VOTING. Voting intimidation will NOT be tolerated in ANY way. People won't put up with that kind of shit. And they won't have to. The police won't allow it to happen.

If you see something weird, call the police! Call election officials. Just call someone.

But, I doubt that will even be an issue. This hand wringing, though....I could do without.
