Michael Moore finally realizes his life's true dream, becomes official "Useful Idiot for Trump"

http://www.salon.com/2016/10/27/donald-trump-praises-michael-moore-for-predicting-a-hillary-clinton-loss/

Donald Trump praises Michael Moore for predicting a Hillary Clinton loss

If this is Moore "helping," how do we get someone to tell him "Thanks, but no thanks" for his ass-backwards efforts?

And before someone brings up the "it was just reverse psychology to motivate people" defense, I'd just like to point out that Michael Moore is... drum roll... NOT a psychologist. And his comments seem more designed to demoralize Democrats than motivate them.

They go by what they hear in the media, mostly from FauxNews and CNN, who are known to fabricate anti-Hillary memes with regularity. What they will hear is that Moore is supporting Trump and that he thinks he will win. It doesn't matter what the truth is.

Aren't we the side that knows about context? I am not surprised that Trump looked at a context free excerpt and pushed it to his followers as some kind of "support".

Nobody on their side will look past the lead paragraph of any article - but damn, people here should stop and look...

That's the crux of my complaint with him. He and other Debbie Downers should know when to STFU, before they do damage by saying things that the opposition can utilize this way.

But attention seekers like Moore don't think about that stuff. All he cares about is lining up the next interview, which means saying something ridiculous to attract media outlets.

Moore is a lot more like Trump than he probably believes himself to be, in that regard.

For other's to edit it to be something it wasn't. That is true

But so did Shirley Sherrod.

It's a fairly common construct:

1.This is why something is happening/has happened
2. Examples from my own experience
3. This is why we should change course/reexamine
4. Examples from shared experience.
5 Conclusion

I don't want to seem argumentative, but you seem to be blaming Michael Moore for talking like Michael Moore - because it made it easy for Trump to be dishonest.

Your beef with Moore is not based on fact or ideas or work. Solely the product of right wing produced huff.

You claim all kinds of things about Mr. Moore's motives and beliefs. Do you know him? Have you spent time talking with him? Have you ever seen one of his movies?

Hmmm.

Don't be that guy. Sure, he's overweight and pisses off people who don't like their liberals to be "too liberal". But a post like this only shows more about you than Moore.

He's gotten under my skin a few times. Mostly when I look at the issue though, he's been right most of the time.

Others here will tell you what was really going on with his statement. But I think you already knew that and were just looking for a reason to dump on Moore. I'm not going to bother to look, but I wonder if you've a pattern of this.

If so. Watch his movies.

There is a weird correlation in humans seeking out things that are not the pleasant or even things that might be bad for them but still give them that jolt, stimulation or sensation and them engaging in it regardless. A few examples might be horror movies, hot peppers / spicy foods, strange religious rituals or even kinky sex acts.

Moore is another outlier that ventures that way and Trump might just be one of same in a different flavor.

He calls her everything beautiful and intelligent in that movie. It made me like her more and made me angry at folks who did her so wrong. Made me realize how much she moderated her progressive style hecause of the horrible bullying she has faced. I hope she goes back to being comfortable with being brash and bold like she was before. I would be the same way if the entire nation seems to hate everything Good I did and blamed me for shit that was not my damn fault.
