The second major piece of news in that link is the strong uptick in the support for common sense gun control.

- Undecided voters are looking at gun violence prevention as a major factor in their upcoming vote. Of the 9% of voters who haven’t committed to a candidate for Senate, 82% say making it harder for criminals to get guns is an important issue, 72% support background checks on all gun sales, and 70% support prohibiting individuals on the FBI Terror Watch List from buying guns.

The report goes on to note the enthusiasm of gun control supporters, their bipartisanship, and their focus on this issue.
