what Hillary MUST do when this witch hunt ends...

she could start by bridging the gap with moderate republicans.

They want to save their party, and it's been hijacked by the tea party and alt and far right.

If they can find some things they agree on, they need to start on those ideas, let the tea party and far right reveal themselves as the obstructionists they are.

At the same time, moderates are going to have to start speaking up against conspiracy theories, flat out lies, and every bit of nonsense that used to be their "fuel."

AND, they will need to concede that this witch hunt was greatly a part of political gain.

It's possible they could restore dignity to their party. I'm certainly a democrat, but if we can't have a functional two party system, we all lose in the long run.

They stopped caring about governance long ago. I think she should set out her policies and invite the moderates to join her.

Dems should close ranks behind her on everything and put pressure on the GOP to grow up.

and now thy're going after Paul Ryan. They are a very vocal radical minority. They have a number of high ranking visible congress members who are pushing congress further right all the time. There is no united group of moderate Republicans willing to stick their necks out and fight back against them.

We have experienced 8 years of perpetual temper tantrums and they have no problem trying to torch this country if they can't get their way. They have caused far more harm to this country then ISIS ever has. They only care about trying to obtain and retain total power everything else be damned.

... under Bush they still didn't really do dick for the American people ... and then they spent the last 8 years trying to damage the US to hurt Obama.

So that's at least 24 years of non-governance from these idiots.

they couldn't cope with the fact that Bill Clinton won and derailed their conservative dream of taking us back to the dark ages. then they couldn't cope with Obama winning. they're fucking sore losers, who then hold these fake investigations into faux scandals, wasting everyone's time and money, causing gridlock, etc. The GOP truly has devolved into a fascist right-wing trash party.

It can be done with a major issue. Immigration reform right off the start. This is an area we can have major progress with moderate republican support. They will also be desperate to not look like racists after Trump goes down. Very willing to bargain.

If any republican even so much as smiles at a Clinton or a Clinton aide they will be primaried as quickly and as brutally as they can be.

Thus ends any moderate republicans.

Who was that senator from Colorado that dare said something about compromise? Bob Bennet or something like that? He was run out of town like a diseased whore.

The Republican party was the party of Lincoln. This is a terrible tragedy in US history. My family were all Republicans going back to the days when they were Abolitionists. When they decided to pick up the racists to gain control of the congress and the public finances, they lost their soul. Let this be a lesson for us all!
