2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumIn one year, no one will admit to having voted for Donald Trump.
No Republican, no independent. That loudmouth down the street? Changed his mind at the last moment. 'I stayed home'. 'I fought bravely against him from inside the GOP.' That's all we'll hear. A cautionary tale, just like George W. Bush. A boogeyman.
No one voted for Bush, either. He's a Democrat, I heard on Fox.

(2,413 posts)A year from now you'll be seeing bumper sticker that say "Don't blame me, I voted for Donald."
Every trivial thing that goes wrong, every burp in the economy, every rise in the cost of anything at all, will be blamed squarely on Hillary Clinton. And if Democrats take back the Senate and (oh, how I wish!) the House also, the blame will be never ending.
