2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumThis nasty woman is up early so she can go VOTE for Hillary!
That's right...I'm in a slightly red county in battleground Florida.
I say SCREW Trump, Comey and Chaffetz and their happy horseshit!
Take that you slimy little bastards!

(31,508 posts)My vote won't make any difference in my deep red state, but it felt good, nonetheless.
I echo your sentiments regarding Trump, Chaffetz, Comey, et al.

(2,056 posts)Long lines! There was a woman greeting folks with a Hillary shirt on as well as a couple of local candidate reps that were a bit back from the entrance, not pushy, just saying hi to people. I only saw a couple of obvious Trump followers. I met an elderly man behind me who I heard tell the Clinton shirt lady that he was voting Clinton. I told him that I was too. He said he was a truck driver for many years and he never talked about women like Trump does and could not vote for such a rotten man. He said his wife was mad at him and liked Trump but leaned in and whispered, "Don't worry, though...she's Canadian so she CAN'T VOTE!" and he laughed.

(70,099 posts)things work out (or early next week for sure).
After I voted last week, I walked out and had this somber thought--First time I ever voted for a woman for President. I say somber but a happy somber-when you realize the significance of voting for Hillary in 2016.
Enjoy your day.
