Yes, part of the reason is that she is a woman. Politics in the United States tends to be a patriarchal endeavor, and a strong woman tends to bring on the vapors. And not only is she a strong woman, she's also unapologetic feminist and unwavering advocate of CHOICE.

Plus, the reich-wing has invested LITERALLY millions of dollars and untold media hours cultivating the "Clinton hate," and especially towards Hillary. They've made an entire industry out of Hillary Hate and they think they've hit the jackpot for the next four years.
