I once thought I HATED Hillary; NOW I am fucking ENTHUSIASTIC about voting for her

Hey. Fuck these assholes that think that Hillary voters are not enthusiastic about heading out to the polls. I dont give a fuck if there is a goddamn blizzard on election day; I'll be taking my black ass to the polls even if I have to wear snowpants and a parka, and build myself a fucking igloo in the damn parking lot. I want to prove those smug ass shitheads that go around acting like they know what people like me think completely wrong. I might be more enthusiastic than I was in 2012.

I thought I hated Hillary.-

Apparently I just have policy differences with her that I hyperbolically described as hate. Now I know that I was a dumbass mf that got bamboozled by the absolute hate the media has for Hillary.

In fact, it's damn right fucking on!

I never really hated Hillary, but had enough differences to actually say the words "I'll never vote for Hillary Clinton." You'd think, being exactly Hillary's age, I'd know better, but I'm a true blue liberal and don't talk to me about a conservative Democrat...hell, at one point I even convinced myself Obama wasn't much more than a moderate Republican. I hang my head in shame in the face of the true evil of the American Republican party and the American people who will vote for Trump. My mother always said, know your enemies. I forgot that for a moment and never will again.

I'm glad you handed him his ass.

I'm so TIRED of hearing about the "angry white vote" that Trump has "tapped into." We've heard about nothing else for the last year. The media has an obsession with it. They don't want to call it racist (even though it is), they don't want to call it sexist (even though it is).

They want to pretend it's all about "economic anxiety," and they go on and on about how energized and enthusiastic his base are. Meanwhile, they never interview or spotlight any Hillary supporters, no women, no people of color. But every time there's some idiot with a MAGA hat and a shirt that says Hillary for Prison, they make a beeline for the person. FUCK THAT. I'd say there's more than enough anger and enthusiasm on our side, but the media don't want to cover it.

With her dark glasses, her sweater draped over her shoulder and her eyes on the horizon, Mrs. Clinton looks relaxed, happy and confident — exactly as she appeared in her best moments during the debate. Her tweet set the tone for the evening and made a promise about Mrs. Clinton’s performance that she was able to keep, despite Donald Trump’s incoherent hectoring.

I don't understand it. When the primaries were over (which my candidate lost) I thought I would just pinch my nose and go vote for HRC, the lesser of two evils. As the general has gone along, I have become more enthusiastic. Part of it is the way that HRC is handling herself and explaining policy, and part of it is how overall f'ing disgusting tRump and his minions are. And, no matter what these pigs have thrown at her, she has shook it off like it was nothing. She has really earned my respect. That might not mean a lot, but if she has earned the respect of this doubter, I am sure she has earned the respect of a lot of them.

PS- I voted on Monday. There was no nose holding. When I was finished I thought "take that, MFer". That was aimed at tRump, of course

That's actually what my husband and I smirk to each other when we watch the Hillary rallies now. "...but, but, but, there's no enthusiasm..." Usually followed by one of us adding "My ASS!"

What I don't understand and what continues to confound me is how on earth there could possibly still be undecided voters. What on earth do you still need to see? What in blazes haven't you seen already that is MORE than enough to help you realize who's the best candidate and who's the worst? How in the hell can you still be undecided, by ANY stretch of the imagination?

As we sometimes say around my house - "what the fuckin' fuck-fuck?"

here.. I was known to not be very nice once upon a time regarding our esteemed Democratic Presidential candidate.

And, then she gave her concession speech and I started warming up.. and then she nominated Obama @ the DNC and I was in tears of happiness.. and Then he got her to be his SOS and I rooted for both of them and have been for 8 years. I think Hillary and Barack had a similar journey.. I mean President Obama and SOS Clinton.

I think a lot of people thought they didn't like her for one reason or another especially watching US m$m who makes a living on Hillary hate.. but then they got to know her in this election, she's been everywhere, and fell in love with who she is.

Not who the hatemongers push on us.

So you got bamboozled? You what Obama says.. Don't! lol

Climate change is fucked up.

I also cried during her concession speech. I had been so torn between the two that I COULD NOT CHOOSE. I did not vote in that primary because I felt torn between my womanness and my blackness since I felt that they were similar policy wise. We were making history regardless, so I left it up to my fellow democrats. That's my dirty secret. I sometimes sit out primaries...

This time though, I decuded to give allcandidates a chance and I supported Bernie, Then omalley, then hillary. I knew she'd win regardless, but once peopke started attacking her? I took it super personally and I still do. It would happen to any of us. We are women. I am tired of sexism and want to blow that shit up for good.

...and will always be thankful Senator Sanders threw his hat in the wring, however, just like Senator Sanders, to me the choice is crystal clear: Hillary Clinton is the probably the most qualified candidate for the Presidency in my lifetime (I will be 60 in December). After her acceptance speech, I did my own research and concluded that: (1) regurgitating the usual Hillary rumors and inuendos was dishonest and trite; and (2) I was completely blown away by her committment to women and children at a very early age and point in her career, long before such positions were fashionable.

There isn't a more investigated, researched AND SLANDERED person on the planet. Yes, she certainly has her faults... we all do. She also ENTHUSIASTICALLY has my vote.

So my journey has been similar.
Not being an American, getting to know her commitment to social issues from such an early age and keeping at it through the decades despite all the shit thrown at her was an eye-opener for me in this campaign.
Obama hit it perfectly with "Hillary is that woman in the arena."
Now, she's slapping Trump around, plays him like a fiddle and she will win on her own merits. But that the far right is getting so furious when she will win, is just the cherry on top.

in the 2008 Maryland primary, knowing she wasn't going to win the state. That didn't matter to me. I was still holding out hope, getting dimmer though, she'd be the nominee. Was I disappointed she didn't get it? Sure. Was I a PUMA? Hell no! I voted Obama 08 & 12.😋

And I voted for ALL Dems listed on the ballot! One race had a write in Dem running and I looked it up ahead of time to write them in. The only races I could not find the party affiliation for was two Mosquito Controller positions so I chose the woman for each one.

I got there about 10 minutes before the doors opened and there were 30-50 people ahead of me. By the time I voted there had to be at least 125-150 people behind me, maybe more.

There's not a lot left from around Chiles and Crist's time but anyone Rick "Batboy" Scott appointed got the nix.

We had a lot of amendments to vote on too. Weed was easy but that first one, the one that looked like it was FOR solar power but was really a give away to the power companies was dishonestly represented and that was a big NO for me.

Hope Murphy can pull out a win over Little Marco.

I've never been a big fan of Hillary's. Never. I'm a part of a broad number of people who do not trust her because of her fibs.

I did not agree with her handling of the emails. To me, that stunk to high heavens along with more fibs. I did not agree with Comey's original conclusion either.

But I can't stand Trump. Hillary is light years better than that pig in so many ways it's not worth documenting.

There's full disclosure but at least I've been consistent for a long time on those positions.

I think it helps me to say with emphasis and some objectivity that what happened to Hillary Clinton via that letter from the FBI yesterday was terribly wrong. The FBI Director has to be able to see the forest through the trees of protocol. Obviously, Comey can't. He needs to go.

Sat Oct 29, 2016, 09:37 AM

And she's still standing up for liberal policies that will help protect the poor, expand the middle class & make the rich pay a fairer share.

She'll help preserve and expand affordable health care. She'll help fix the problems that have become more apparent with the way the affordable care act is taking shape. I don't trust any republicans to do anything other than voting to scrap it, which will make things much worse. That's exactly what happened in the beginnings of social security and in the beginnings of civil rights legislation. Good policies always have to be strengthened and expanded.

Thank you for voting bravenak. Even if you have to set up an igloo in the parking lot.

At least they need to release the real information that this doesn't involve anything sent by Clinton, he released broad innuendo instead of facts on purpose. Government needs to get in front of this and tell the truth, comey lied for political purposes. Actually, they probably shouldn't fire him now, just put out a press release that the information put out by Comey was wrong and politically motivated lies.

I was an Obama guy, then a Bernie(or Warren) guy. I don't have the irrational hatred for Hillary that a lot of people seem to have but she's just a little too centrist and inauthentic for my taste. So I can't, in complete honesty, say that I voted for her enthusiastically.

BUT... she's a million times better than Donald Trump. The worst thing I could say about a Hillary presidency is that it has the potential to be underwhelming. The worst thing I can say about a Trump presidency is that it has the potential to be a nightmarish hellscape. So I happily and enthusiastically voted early against Donald Trump last week.

Even before Bill got elected, she really rattled them and you could see them laying the groundwork of trying to shatter Bill's everyman populism by saying he married a shrew essentially. The "baking cookies" and "stand by your man" comments really riled them up.

Hence why even usually sane Democrats buy into false equivalency.
