I expect President Obama to fire Comey after the election and designate the new director before Clinton's term begins.

Meanwhile, the focus needs to be on Trump and his negatives. Comey tried to derail that.

The msm is discussing this constantly with hysterical statements about Watergate, whether Hillary should step aside, etc etc. This will go on ALL WEEK with potential additional, deliberately misleading, vague, damning leaks in an extremely tight election. Comey should be fired for grossly intruding into a political campaign.

and would give the GOP ammunition for claiming the firing was politically motivated. It would be much, much worse than it already is. Look up "Saturday Night Massacre" if you aren't old enough to remember it. All hell broke loose after that and it helped turn the public against Nixon.
