Mother Jones has reviewed that report and other memos this former spy wrote. The first memo, based on the former intelligence officer's conversations with Russian sources, noted, "Russian regime has been cultivating, supporting and assisting TRUMP for at least 5 years. Aim, endorsed by PUTIN, has been to encourage splits and divisions in western alliance." It maintained that Trump "and his inner circle have accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin, including on his Democratic and other political rivals." It claimed that Russian intelligence had "compromised" Trump during his visits to Moscow and could "blackmail him."

How could a man of Donald Trump's moral fortitude possibly become entraped?


Would he make financial boasts to russian investors about his riches, only to be easily refuted and threatened to reveal him as a cheap show-off and ridicule him in front of everybody whose adulation he wants and needs?

Trump is a married husband and father, faithful to all his wives and ever gentlemanly towards women.


Would Trump be introduced into a round-table of manly men boasting about their exploits? Would there be lots and lots of Vodka and could Trump be talked into drinking too much by attacking his manliness? Would they boast about how the strong simply take what they want? Would they boast about taking women against their will? Could a piss-drunk Trump, surrounded by fellows who recount stories of sexually assaulting and raping women and again doubted for his manliness, be egged on to tell his own stories about sexually assaulting and raping women?

And good words from Putin. We don't know what he might have conveyed to Donald J tRump by back channels like Manafort and Page and the other guy; people who are known to have strong connections into Russia.

The leverage is implicit if tRump is struggling for cash flow. It seems cash flow is an issue for him because he cut way back on the millions of dollars he promised to put into his campaign. Low cash flow means lots of his wealth is illiquid and he may have heavy debt payments to make each month.

Donald J tRump has not released his tax returns which would reveal some of this.

Setting aside the article, which is intended as satire, even those who seem to hate Mr Trump with incandescent passion will not suggest that he is wilfully undermining the U.S. and the election process. It was reported early on that Trump is no longer able to get loans from US based banks because of all the bankruptcies so he's turned to Deutche Bank and the Russian banks. Deutche Bank is now in financial trouble, so who's left? The Russians.

He's in debt up to his ears with Russian bankers. They own him and Putin owns the oligarchs who run the banks. It's not at all a stretch to think that Putin would use the oligarchs financial hold over Trump for nefarious purposes. Putin could certainly let the oligarchs know it's in their own interest to keep lending Trump money or to call in his loans depending on what Putin wants out of Trump.

Michael Morrill and former Russian Amb McFall have both talked about Putin being a trained and savvy KGB agent. I'm sure Putin easily figured out that to manipulate Trump all he needs do is shower him with adoration and approval.

Then there's his current father-in-law who's a member of the Communist Party. And one of the Trump women is good friends with Putin's wife.
