What's going on with the septa strike in Philly?
For anyone who lives out that way, what's going on? Is it severely impacting how people move about the city? Are the GOTV folks working on some ways to make sure people can get to the polls of this thing lingers on?

(1 post)2. Hot Mess!!!
79 city bus routes are not running. In addition the Market/Frankford elevated line isn't running nor the Broad street subway. About 900,000 people are affected. No news from negotiations. At this point, I'm not even sure that they are currently at the table!!! I heard that they are far apart. They have not addressed what if any contingency plan will be in place if the strike lasts until election day!!!

I sure hope it either gets resolved soon, or SEPTA does something on election day. Are there GOTV folks out there with vans and buses will to get folks to the polls as well?
