WE'VE Got This
WE are women. We have fought and won a million battles: the right to vote, the right to higher education, the right to pursue the career path of our choosing, the right to have dominion over our own bodies. We will not be condescended to, bullied, or dismissed.
WE are men. We see women as our equals and our allies, worthy of respect and equal opportunity. We will stand next to them in battle, and fight for their rights as passionately as we defend the rights of ALL. We will not be told that any citizen is to be seen as inferior by virtue of their gender, their religion, their race, or their ethnicity.
WE are soldiers, we are veterans. We have sacrificed much for our country, and we will not be called weak when we suffer from injury, nor cast aside when our work is done.
WE are the homeless, the hungry, the sick, the disabled. We will stand with the party and the candidate who seek to house us, feed us, and care for us, and treat us with the dignity everyone deserves.
WE are immigrants, the children of immigrants, the descendants of immigrants. We believe in a nation that welcomes all, and sees the strength inherent in our diversity.
WE are minorities. We refuse to be judged by our race, our ethnicity, our language, or our culture.
WE are Christians, Jews, Buddhists and Muslims. We view each other not as enemies, but as fellow Americans. We find comfort in our faith, and guidance in the principles that lead us to embrace those who pray differently than we do, as well as those who choose not to pray at all.
WE are straight, gay, transsexual, bisexual. We will not relinquish our rights, nor our rightful place as equal citizens who are free to love, marry, and raise families.
WE are rich, we are poor, we are middle-class. We believe in paying our fair share in taxes in order to contribute to our nation as a whole, as well as to assist our fellow citizens in need.
This is who WE are, and we are legion.
Our elections were once a contest between two political parties – equally patriotic, equally concerned with the well-being of its citizens, equally motivated to move the nation in the direction of prosperity, opportunity and justice for ALL. Those days are gone, and nothing has demonstrated that fact more jarringly than this current campaign cycle.
We have watched in horror as the Republicans nominated a man who represents everything contrary to what our nation stands for; a man whose morals are beneath contempt and whose ignorance of the responsibilities of the office of POTUS is beyond comprehension.
We have seen racists, misogynists, homophobes and xenophobes spew their ignorance and their hatred with absolute pride in the doing, and we have seen the influential members of the GOP not only support their rhetoric, but add their voices to it.
But WE will not be deterred. WE have voted, we are voting now, we WILL vote next Tuesday. We will NOT allow our country to slide backwards into discrimination, bigotry, fiscal irresponsibility, wars based on lies, and the furtherance of ignorance. WE will not tolerate the utter hypocrisy of those whose only aim is to obstruct progress while pretending to have any other goal.
WE will not be intimidated, bullied, coerced, cajoled, lied to, or misled. WE are not lazy, indifferent, or complacent. WE will not compromise our principles, nor walk away from the fight.
WE, the people who actually believe in the ideals this country was founded upon, will not falter in our zeal to uphold those ideals, to strengthen them, and to stand united against all foes – foreign and domestic.
WE have got this. We WILL prevail next Tuesday – and next month, next year, and in the years to come. WE have taken our stand against those who would belittle us, besmirch us, and ultimately betray us. And WE will not be moved, now or ever.

As you can see from the title of my reply, you and I both have a real way with words....almost poetic.
