i wanted to give comey the benefit of the doubt, thought maybe he put himself in a hole by saying he would update congress as soon as he found out new information, but now thanks to all the leaks from "anonymous" fbi sources on monday, and these absurd tweets on tuesday it's clear that something more is at play and there is an internal struggle. comey has lost all control.

no way it was just a coincidence that the account had been inactive for that long and then "randomly" posted those two items.

comey has lost control and the respect of those under him. this is a serious problem for the nation, it really feels as though the trump camp, fbi and russia are working together for a coup to steal the election from the dems. i hope there are enough sane people to recognize what is going on and vote against it and that their votes aren't hacked away. this is the closest we've come in my lifetime to seeing another 1930's germany.

The information the FBI released is accurate. The motive for releasing it is clearly partisan. But coming down hard now would give Trump the advantage of saying, "See? She's trying to cover up for Clinton!"

We can absorb this abuse of ethics from the FBI. It will not affect the outcome of the election.
