This is it for the republicans. With the changing demographics, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the republican party to bring in new voters on a scale that would match democrats. And with the next president to be filling maybe 3 supreme court seats, this is Armageddon for them. They will do anything...ANYTHING....to win this year. We've already seen Comey forfeit his political future for the cause, and I suspect there are many willing to sacrifice for their cause.

Bad thing is, at this stage of the game, it doesn't even have to be true because there will not be time to refute their claims before next Tuesday. So, expect it. I'm sure a president Trump wouldn't pardon a man for lying (no way...right?)
