Got my MA early voting on for the first time

Never a problem on election day itself, but felt like seeing how it was being operated. Five people ahead of my at lunch, done in a few minutes, such a breeze.

Amused that Clinton/Kaine was at the top of the ticket with Trump/Pence below the two other parties. It's how I like seeing them.

We have four ballot initiatives this time around;

1) A new gambling license being created; voted yes on that, mostly because it won't go anywhere as the previous licenses move slow as molasses.

2) School Charter funding expansion; vote hells no

3) No more caging of farm animals; hells yeah

4) legalize marijuana in a range of ways; suffice to say, I'm hopeful that early next year I'll be able to try it for the first time, legally.

I always wish we had a better look here about what's moving and grooving on the local level since that often drives most voting.

Can you believe fucking Charlie Baker with his VOTE YES ON 2 ads? What an ASSHOLE!!!! His mouth is moving and THIS is what I hear:

"Hi, I'm clueless nitwit Charlie Baker, Governor of this Commonwealth, and rather than pledge to you that I'll do everything I can to improve schools in this state, I'm throwing up my hands, saying FUCK IT, I can't do it, and encouraging you to vote for more private-public for profit partnership schools run by my cheesy business buddies that will suck the LIFE out of public schools in those communities that need the most help and support. I am an asshole, a shitty leader, an embarrassment, and a typical goddamned selfish and stupid Republican. Kick me in the teeth the next time you see me!"

GRRRR. Infuriates me every time I see it! Why did we elect that turd?

On the bright side, I've brought a bunch of people to early voting--so much so, that I might not be doing any driving "on the day!" My whole family is loving this early voting--which ends on the 4th! I'd say it's a huge success here.

I do a lot of work with youtube videos and it's frontloading everything these days and unskippable. I never see TV ads since I use Tivo and watching everything timeshifted.

Here you simply walk in, tell them your address, they match your signature to one they have digitally on file, and you're given your polling card.

In and out in less than 10 minutes. I almost spent more time double & triple checking my votes than I did standing in line.

Good on everyone who votes early!

They had busy days on the 8th and appreciated the convenience. As I understand it there were very few people at the location they went to.
