CNN has gone over the cliff today, pushing "Trump surge" and "dems are terrified" meme

CNN has always been ridiculous but today they have reached a new low. Every single segment seems to be focused on "dems are hysterical," "Clinton's support is crashing with group x, y, or z," "why are black voters not turning out for Hillary." They are allowing that Trump pond scum Corey Lewandowski continue to push his bullshit numbers (he is still citing a crazy outliar -- teehee -- poll from some time ago that was claiming that Trump was getting 28% of the black vote...yeah) and blather on and on and on.

They have always been biased, and they certainly pushed Trump to inflate their ratings, but today the spinning for Trump has completely gone over the edge. It is infuriating (I know -- I won't keep watching. It is depressing to hear the nonstop pro-Trump bullshit)

CNN cut ties w/Donna Brazille but Trump-funded Lewandowski can plant his butt on the CNN panels every single night and act like he is contributing anything but blatant propaganda?

And some people are forced to watch things like that at work because TVs in the office are on CNN or Faux. Self-deletion or at least an edit would be a wise move, IMHO.

They select but disguise Trump surrogates who derogate with dominate rhetoric in their "discussions" of a distorted "Trump surge" saying that if it is decided on character, he will be elected or in other words total BULLSHIT!!! This is not isolated but an ongoing editorial decision that is being implemented. Disgusting violation of public trust presenting distortions and lies as "factual reporting," totally irresponsible.

has made me so disgusted, and so frustrated with just what you point out -- they CLEARLY push pro-Trump talking points (especially this week in addition to cherry-picking polls and pulling issues out of thin air) and allow his surrogates to dominate every segment.

Sorry if that puts people off their feed or if my "concern" upsets them but I'm really fucking scared now. People are very easily lead by the media and the nonstop email horseshit is really bad for business.

My union is out every day handbilling, phone banking and canvassing and I hope it's going to be effective. Our GOTV operation is among the best in the country and we're going to be in the street all day on Tuesday but I just feel like a lot of people really want to screw the system.

My stomach has been in knots since Friday.

Go ahead and scold and ridicule.

NO scolding here

I feel your anxiety. BUT, unlike some who are sitting by and worrying and not doing much, you're actually out there getting it done with the election only a few scant days away, and whatever you and others can DO will lead to Hillary's being POTOS of our great country. I've donated, talked to friends/family about getting out there to vote--especially in swing states--and up until I had to finally have oral surgery, I was phone-banking DAILY for months for Camp Clinton.

People are anxious and quite literally scared as hell as is to be expected, because the only thing that stands between us as a country and as a world and disastrous ramifications quite literally if tRump was POTUS IS Hillary Clinton.

That is legitimately scary, like heights or bees.

Where I work at (a great job I like a lot), I have Hispanic coworkers and some Muslim coworkers too... including one I see almost as a sister. And they're not just coworkers, I consider them friends.

We've had at least one customer who's mentioned Trump and how he's going to change everything to that "Mexican" coworker of mine and she better be extra nice to him... or else, right out of the blue by the way. We've also had people, not regular customers, get really angry really fast towards both of those groups I mentioned, while not mentioning Trump, it does make me wonder.

I'm straight, white, male... but because of what I just mentioned, there is something I take very personally here. So no, I won't scold or ridicule anyone who says they are terrified. Now, people who faint every time a poll goes down a point, they should breathe deeply and count to ten, then find the poll here that says Hillary is up by 7 points.

Up until very recently, I hadn't watched CNN since about 2005.

I have watched them on and off the last 2 months or so, but the past 2 weeks I've not watched them consistently sans a few segments here and there, and especially not with the Comey knee-capping of Hillary. Sad that in a country as big and as diverse as ours we have very few if ANY reputable new agencies around.

Damn shame.
