2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAwkward moment at work...
Obama was just speaking on NBC and another nurse just came in, looked at the TV, with 5 other people in the room, and was all "uhhhh, I'm going to eat somewhere else, i can't watch anything that's going to say Hillary Clinton will be the next president!"
(Awkward silence around the room)
Another nurse: "well he had a lot of good things to say, it's really scary if the other way happens"
(Still awkward silence)
Repub nurse: "IF ANYONE IN THE MILITARY DID WHAT SHE DID THEY WOULD BE IN JAIL!!!"
(Verrrry awkward silence)
Me: who wants to watch HGTV.
But in all seriousness this this the type of ignorance and right wing propaganda leaking its way into the mainstream. 😒

(1,156 posts)If that meme is true in the military, then why did Petraeus and Oliver North not spend a day in jail for their treasonous actions? The people spouting this manure are sheeple and the attitude certainly isn't going to make America great again. Bizarro World is today's reality world for the irrational conservatives in the GOP. Our country is seriously in trouble unless rational people can stop this crap.

(4,150 posts)I used to work in a red state, and the number of fucking NURSES voting repuke was enough to sicken anybody.
If there is ONE group that has NO reason to vote R, it's nurses.
