Gallup basically gave up

Can't wait until an explanation comes out about LA Times/USC Poll. I suspect we might find a lot of funding of USC by the Kochs. I went to the Texas equivalent of USC in Dallas-SMU and they are pouring money into various departments of the university which is alarming but somewhat expected with the Bush Library and "Think" Institute

Really smart speculation. That will be interesting. The turnover in pollsters from cycle to cycle and the general unreliability of their models really makes one realize that you have to apply a "common sense" adjustment factor to most polls.
