The Final Surprise May Be a Boring Election Night

Political Wire

Playbook: “Here’s one theory bouncing around the reporter and political campaign consultant world: Despite the recent tightening of the race, election night could be super boring. If Nevada political guru Jon Ralston is right — and he usually is — Hillary Clinton has all but won that state. If she takes Nevada, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Virginia — all states where she seems to have a lead, or is building one through early voting — Donald Trump can win Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado and New Hampshire and still lose.”

There is no incentive for anybody to show a 7-10 point lead.

That's all I'll say about that.

Will be here too. At very least a Senate majority is absolutely imperative if we are to have a return to sanity and normalcy.

The media has hyped this up so it's "supposed" to be a neck and neck race, and that's not really reality. I think that the down ticket races will be less boring, but all in all it won't be as big a deal as the hype that talking heads are predicting.

Somehow if your team wins the Superbowl 45-0 you never find it boring. I'm hoping to be that not bored on the night of November 8.

Neither will most Dem men and probably a few Republican women. Just my opinion, but how can the election of the first woman president be boring?
