Beat The Rush. Buy Your Champagne and Caviar NOW!

There will be obvious cause for celebration by 11PM EST Tuesday, but if you're planning to toast Hillary's victory, you're going to need to have your champagne and other comestibles purchased and chilled before hand. So, head out to the liquor store and your gourmet grocery and pick up your bubbly and caviar early.

When the networks call the race as soon as west coast polls close, you can pop the corks, pour a glass, and nibble on your sturgeon eggs right away. Don't miss out. It's gonna be a monumental celebration. Indulge yourself.

Hint: Sturgeon caviar is expensive. You could pick up a jar of lumpfish caviar (a good choice) or even flying fish roe (check for this as a sushi ingredient) as a substitute if your budget is tight. But don't skimp on the Brut.

Hadn't thought about caviar, but I do love it. Thanks for the nudge! Heading for the market on my Friday afternoon off...

Slice hard boiled eggs in 1/4" thick slices. Keep only the slices with yolk. Place each slice on a Ritz cracker. On each slice, put a small amount of sour cream and then top with a little pile of caviar. Present those to your guests or keep them all for yourself.

I guarantee oohs and aahs. Seriously.

5. Yes!!! I've done it with the egg chopped, but otherwise just as you describe. Swoon-worthy!

The slices sound like it might be easier to stack. ***Adding eggs to grocery list*** My dad used to also sprinkle chopped shallots on his, but I wasn't as fond of that. The sour cream is a given!

7. I suppose the Ritz crackers are a bit pedestrian, even nekulturny (некултурний),

but they seem to have just the right buttery flavor for that little snack.

12. I've used the Ritz and they are great. I've also done it on thin toast with a brush of melted butter

Hadn't thought of caviar, but it seems de rigueur. Think I'll make it California Royal White Sturgeon Caviar. No Russian stuff please.

re-elected after he stole the election in 2000, started a war based on lies, and proved himself to be a complete moron.

I still can't believe Kerry lost.

I will wait to celebrate on Wednesday.
