He didn't think much of him at first, but when all the others fell, he, thanks mostly to fox news, decided that Trump would be better than Clinton. I had a few talks with him, but mostly tried to avoid discussing the election with him. A couple of weeks ago I took him for a drive in the mountains and the subject did come up about voting for the local county commissioners. Then he brought up Trump and after a few minutes I told him exactly what I thought of Trump, I said he was a low life piece of crap that lied every time he opened his mouth, and brought out the fact that the KKK, and the nazi's had endorsed him. Well he tried to tell me all those things were just made up, I said no they aren't, and he then said "Well it makes no difference to me, I opened the mail in ballot looked at it and tore it up, then threw it in the garbage". He said he was really sick of the crappy candidates so he just wasn't going to vote.
I no longer have to think about an intervention. He may not vote for Hillary, but at least he won't be voting for Trump. I think a lot of that will be going around this year, republicans who won't vote for Hillary, but also can't bring themselves to vote for Trump.
