Riding the election roller-coaster…
First thing in the morning, check the aggregate sites and DU latest threads. During day, check sites on an hourly basis. A bit of relief in the early afternoon, when it looks as if all the poll data is in for the evening. Late into the night, watching discussion threads (plus YouTube videos on good expat "retirement" communities overseas should Drumpf win). Up with every bit of good news, back down with every bit of bad
I would think that the days since Comeygate have provided a convincing "Bipolar Disorder Simulator" for us progressives.
It seems to me that, today, almost all of the news has been good. National polls seem to have stabilized or started ticking upward, in a sign that the race has stabilized with HRC still in the lead. The state poll dump from PPP was almost unreservedly good news, after a worrisome Thursday. Early voting numbers appear very solid, and might already have locked up Nevada.
The bad news? Well, 538, as usual. And every newscast still trying to spin the "Trump surge" scenario, and announcing that he, finally and unexpectedly, has a "path to victory," no matter the evidence to the contrary.
Am I the only one seeing that the only bad news today has been the insistence of the media, against all data, that the news is bad?
