(16,925 posts)I can agree with that one, too!
Let's face it, FAUX will have to create many reasons and crises to keep the feeble-brained in-tuned, informed, and inflamed!

(16,925 posts)You left out some of my neighbors here in Pennsylvania - you know, where Drumpf was gonna' bring back coal (er, somehow, he forgot to tell how he was gonna' do that, but it was gonna' be the greatest, bestest, bringback EVAR!!!!)
There are some of them in every state I think...I'm sure upstate NY will have a few angry ones, definitely a few in Jersey.
I really do have a ton of compassion for the blue collar, backbone of the country people who are being duped by this orange con man. He is not the savior they were seeking.

(16,925 posts)do they really think "Orange Man" can deliver on his promises?
What has he shown to them that can make them believe that?
Show me ONE SINGLE POLICY proposal that he has made that will "cure their ills!"
Funny you mention upstate NY. I met a dairy farmer who employs 80+ immigrants to keep his farm working.
I asked him what he was going to do if Drumpf builds his wall.
His answer:
"I hope they're on this side of it when it goes up. If not, I'm out of business!"

(10,721 posts)And there will be some talk about how the Republican Party nominated someone far too controversial. For the most part, though, I'm sure the blather will revolve around investigations possibly leading to impeachment.
"She only won because she was up against a terribly flawed candidate."
"She'll be lucky to last 4 years."
Blah, blah, blah.
That's just one reason why I'm hoping for a massive landslide.

(35 posts)They will have the headline "Breaking News: Republicans keep the house" as if that is an unexpected shocking victory for them. And they will highlight ballot issues that conservatives "won."

(2,707 posts)and if she gets a national majority, but doesn't have a majority in every electoral college state, they'll also go at her with supposed "spoiling" in states she got pluralities in.
Oh yea, btw, Nate Silver has made the definitive anti-Perot myth tape, worth seeing.
