Thing is: we want a landslide with as many coat tails down ballot as possible.

(81,209 posts)It'd be great to take it all the way to True Blue if we can eventually take the governor's mansion. Personally, I'm STILL smarting over Selection 2000. Still wanting some really thorough, decisive, and preferably PERMANENT payback.

(7,624 posts)The diversity continues here w large Latino population registering in big numbers. A lot of the old Cubans who were reliable GOPers are not so much anymore and I believe we will see progress in this election. If Murphy wins a Senate seat - watch out.
The thing that bothers me is how in the world Rick "Bat-boy" Scott won the Governor's race the last time. I don't see the numbers adding up and, as you mentioned, that BS during Bush's appointment to the office of President was beyond obvious.
I really think Hills has FL and if so - watch for an early end to election drama next Tuesday night.

(65,318 posts)actions to make election day voting hopelessly inconvenient by reducing the number of polling places and machines for Dem-leaning communities prompted Dems to vote early or by mail to avoid running into those difficulties?
